Alicia Witt was a musician from her earliest onscreen days, even if she's better recognized as an actor, composer, musician or singer. As a professional pianist, she first released an EP in 2009 with her strong and warm voice. Revisionary History was her first studio album. The album was co-produced by Ben Folds. The Conduit, her debut album with co-producers in 2021 was followed by Revisionary History. Alicia Witt first appeared onscreen in 1984 as Alia Atreides as part of David Lynch's adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. She wasn't even ten years old, so it's little surprise that she ended up being pigeonholed as an actress and not a musician, even though she was playing the piano at least for since she'd been performing. While she appeared on screen more but her profession as a musician did not commence until the year 1995.
